Asuma Sarutobi was the leader of Team 10 consisting of Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi and Ino Yamanaka.
During the invasion of Konoha, Shikamaru was left by himself to defend against a group of imposing Sound ninja.
Just as Shikamaru ran out of options and the Sound ninja were about to finish him off, Asuma appeared and defeated the group without being hit even once!
